3 Shallot
4 cloves Garlic
5 tablespoons Oyster sauce
5 tablespoons Sweet soy sauce
3 tablespoons Fish sauce
1 tablespoon Sesame seed oil
1 teaspoon Ground black pepper

Chicken Gizzard Stir-Fry

    There are several ways and recipes to cook the chicken gizzard in Asia. Specifically in Chinese cuisine, one of the way to cook is stir frying the gizzard. The combination of sauces makes the dish tasty and bring your appetite to the fullest!

    Use salt to rub away the chicken gizzards stench and wash clean under the running water.
    Fill the pot with water and bring the water to boil over the high heat. Once the water is boiled, add in the chicken gizzards and let it cook for 5 minutes.

    Remove the pot from the heat and use a strainer to drain well the chicken gizzards. Put aside the gizzards in a bowl.

    Crush and mince the garlic and slice the shallots. Heat the sesame oil in a frying pan over high heat and saute the garlic and shallots.
    Add in thinly sliced carrots and stir.

    Take the chicken gizzards slice into desired sizes, then transfer to the pot. Stir over medium heat.

    Add the fish sauce, oyster sauce and sweet soy sauce into the pot and stir evenly.
    Sprinkle a pinch of ground black pepper, and stir again.

    Wash the bak choy under running water and add into pot and give a quick gentle stir, try avoid to overcook the bak choy.

    Remove the pot from the heat and serve the dish on the plate while its hot.
