Steps
1 Done | In a cup, mix tamarind paste with hot water and stir until the paste dissolved completely. |
2 Done | Add the rest of tamarind sauce ingredients, and stir completely. |
3 Done | Prepare the shrimps. Remove the head and shell, but keep the tail on. Devein the shrimps and wash clean. |
4 Done | Dry the shrimps with paper towel and transfer them to the bowl. Pour in the tamarind sauce and coat the shrimps evenly, put aside. |
5 Done | Heat the oil on frying pan over medium high heat. Add the minced garlic, ginger and red chilies, stir fry for a minute or until fragrant. |
6 Done | Transfer the shrimps and all tamarind sauce into frying pan. Stir fry for 4 minutes or until the shrimps turn to curl inward. |
7 Done | Remove from the heat and transfer to the plate. Garnish with dried shallots and fresh coriander before serve. |
