Directions
This recipe is the Chinese style to cook beef and green pepper stir fry. Simple recipe to get the best of marinated beef. To get the best result of this dish, plan ahead. Because it’s take at least 1 to 3 hours to marinate the beef properly.
Steps
1 Done | Slice the steak into 1/2-inch thick slices across the grain. |
2 Done | MARINATINGTo marinate the beef, prepare a medium size bowl. Combine dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, baking soda, salt and sugar in a bowl, stir until mix well. |
3 Done | To prepare the sauce, use a small bowl to mix dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, rice wine, sugar, vinegar and ground black pepper. Stir to mix well. |
4 Done | Heat 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a skillet or wok over medium heat. Add the marinated beef and stir fry for about 2 minutes or until turn opaque. |
5 Done | Heat the remaining vegetable oil over high heat. Slice spring onion into thin slices, mince the garlic and cut the ginger into thin slices. |
6 Done | Add the sliced green peppers and sliced onion. Continue to stir fry for another 30 seconds. Return the cooked beef to the wok or skillet and add the sauce mixture. |
