Steps
1 Done | Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F). |
2 Done | Cut the bread into thick slices and place them on a baking sheet. |
3 Done | Bake the bread in the oven for 8-10 minutes, or until it's lightly toasted. |
4 Done | While the bread is toasting, cut the tomatoes in half and remove the stem. |
5 Done | Grate the tomatoes, cut side down, on a box grater until all that's left is the skin. |
6 Done | Crush the garlic cloves and spread them over the toasted bread. |
7 Done | Spoon the grated tomatoes over the garlic and bread, making sure to spread them evenly. |
8 Done | Drizzle the bread with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle with salt to taste. Serve immediately and enjoy! |
