Mendoan is a type of fried food originating from the Residency of Banyumas, Central Java, Indonesia. The word mendoan comes from the Banyumasan word Mendo which means half cooked or mushy; mendoan means to cook with a lot of hot oil quickly so that the food is not cooked perfectly.

Puree the spices consisting of garlic, onion, turmeric, and coriander then mix the ground spices with flour and rice flour
